In addition, we’re building a new DevOps Center in Rotterdam and are looking to grow this to over 200 new hires over the next few years. Our ambition is to become the #1 DevOps Team. You are a DevSecOps enthusiast, that is fluent in modern continuous delivery concepts. With this mindset, you are an ideal fit for us!

What you move? 

You work in an internal and geographically distributed team with cultural diversity and interact with other DevOps engineers and product owners. You play a vital role in our agile DevOps team. With your passion for GitOps, you allow Swisscom to offer Continuous Delivery as a Service to our internal developer community. In an agile environment, you are responsible for the implementation and adoption of GitOps based on Argo CD. As a platform engineer, you embrace Infrastructure as Code to achieve your goals. With your proven expertise in the field of modern Service Integration, you complement the team optimally. This team belongs to the "Shared Enabling and Platform Services" tribe, which is the Shared Service organisation in Swisscom. Thanks to you, our user can stop caring and waiting about traditional network connectivity and start owning their services secure and efficient exposure surface.

Your qualification

• In your daily work, you will get in touch with the tools and technologies mentioned further. The more you are already familiar with, the better. Everything else you will learn on the job:
  
  Kubernetes, Argo CD, and AWS Services (EKS, VPC, Route53, KMS, Auto Scaler, EFS, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, ALB, Service Catalog, CDK / CloudFormation, CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline)

• You hold one or more of these specific certifications:
  
  AWS Certified Developer - Associate
  AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate

• Master's Degree (M.Sc.) or Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) with comparable experience in Computer Science or proven track record in within mentioned technologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills to develop quick and sound solutions that resolve complex issues
• Team-oriented, very adaptable, and have a flair for continuous improvement
• Very good English, German is a plus
