Position

At ChannelEngine, we are looking for an experienced Product Owner to help us take our product to the next level. We’re doing new things and blazing the trail, so we need someone who is happy working from the ground up, who wants to be a part of building something, and who has knowledge to share. We’re looking for someone who makes it their business to have a global focus and vision for the future. Someone who doesn’t just rely on the plan in place, but is confident in creating their own planning and structure. Someone who doesn’t just work from requests, but comes up with their own ideas, ideas backed up by experience and a can-do attitude. We’re looking for someone who can talk to anyone and everyone. What you’ll be doing

• You will be responsible for creating a clear product vision and developing new functionalities in our international e-commerce platform
• You’ll join our Product Team, and work closely with multiple development teams within the large-scale scrum framework (LeSS) 
• You will think along with us about the further development of the product
• You’ll provide a bridge between our strategic goals and their technical implementation; looking at the way forward and how we can get there
• You’ll be in direct contact with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and clients, across different areas of the business, different hierarchical levels and different geographical regions
• You’ll collect feedback from stakeholders and translate this into clear stories and corresponding acceptance criteria for the technical teams 
• You will maintain our global roadmap based on the strategic goals, create the planning, and continuously ensure we have our priorities right
• You’ll translate the roadmap into actionable steps that you can easily communicate to the relevant parties, and manage thereafter
• You will coordinate the development team and work with them to ensure that your actionable steps are clear and can be carried out effectively 
• You will be responsible for prioritising the product backlog, and organising and structuring the backlog items

Your qualification

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Product Owner, working in an agile scrum environment
• Experience working on a large-scale product or tool, preferably a SaaS solution, which is available in different global regions 
• Strong knowledge of the e-commerce market; experience in logistics or payments could also be considered
• Demonstrable experience of interacting with stakeholders at all levels of business and across cultures
• Technical knowledge relating to software development, architecture, APIs and security would be ideal
• Experience in writing technical and functional requirements 
• Clear and concise communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to reason, negotiate and build consensus 
• Able to work independently, proactively, and in an organised manner, while still paying attention to detail
• Enough experience and drive to hit the ground running 
• Availability to work 40 hours per week
