Position

As Senior DevOps Engineer you will learn to manage a highly available and fully scalable web services product, which handles huge load with high speed and low latency, by using cutting edge software development and testing technologies based on the Java platform. You will also learn about modern DRM technologies in the Media industry and be exposed to cloud deployments, crypto, and secure protocols to securely communicate with embedded devices.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work on our cloud based infrastructure (AWS and on premise) as part of an Agile team
• Automate configurations and templates for various Linux based services
• Measure and maintain reliability through instrumentation and monitoring
• Build infrastructure and tools to increase automation, improve efficiency of the engineering team
• Keep improving and tuning the system, enables automatic deployment and system monitoring
• Work with the global Irdeto team to improve infrastructure and cloud knowledge

Your qualification

• Professional experience in build/release/production deployments in cloud/Saas environments (advanced experience with AWS and Docker is required) including experience in securing infrastructure
• Experience in Continuous Delivery (Jenkins), test automation, deployment automation (e.g Ansible, Rundeck and Terraform)
• Excellent knowledge of monitoring tools (i.e CloudWatch required) and hands-on experience with logs and metrics collection (splunk)
• Experience with automation/configuration management systems (i.e. Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt)
• Ability to code and script (shell and Python preferred)
• Demonstrable experience within Linux/Unix environments
• Experience with networks, security, load balancers, DNS and other infrastructure components
• Obtained a BSc / MSc Degree in Computer Science or relevant experience in IT development, or networking, or system administration, and/or IT operations
• Proficient English communication skills

Will be a plus

• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Sensu or Nagios)
• Experience in scrum and development process/methodologies and/or dealing with development teams
