Position

50five is looking for an experienced front-end developer. You love to work between our Development team and our Design team, by focusing primary on 3 main areas in your daily routines:

• Front-end Implementation (responsive web design, modular/scalable CSS, UI frameworks, living style guides, progressive enhancement & accessibility, animation and front-end performance)
• Application Development (JavaScript frameworks, JavaScript preprocessors, codequality, process automation, testing)
• Front-end Operations (build tools, deployment, speed: (app, tests, builds, deploys), monitoring errors/logs, and stability)

Your qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and at least 2 years of experience as a Front-End developer, preferably in an e-commerce environment
• Solid understanding of current and future front-end technologies, including HTML5, XHTML, CSS (including CSS3) and JavaScript (including jQuery)
• Basic understanding of backend technologies, such as PHP, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Python, NodeJS
• Experience with (some of) the following frameworks: Cordova, Sass, Ionic, Angular, Bootstrap
• Knowledge on OData, JSON. XML (pré)
• Good and actual understanding of SEO best practices in relation to frontend development and technology
• Bonus points experience with (some of); Android, Swift (iOS), Node.js, Swagger, Git, Typescript
• Unit testing, performance, cross browser compatibility and clean code is hygiene and part of the job
• Build bridges and work together with both business (marketing) as well as Design and Development
• Handle the dynamic environment we live in and walk that extra mile
