Position

Textkernel is looking for a Software Engineering Team Lead (Jobfeed), who will be responsible for managing and leading a Software Engineering team during the design, implementation and operation phases.

Your role is to support the team of highly-skilled engineers and help them to grow towards their goals.

Jobfeed Team delivers Textkernel’s Supply & Demand products that generate Market Intelligence on Job Market. The user-friendly Jobfeed portal makes it easy to search for all jobs, produce analyses, identify sales leads and set up job alerts.

Responsibilities:

• Be accountable for the design, development, and operations of Jobfeed
• Ensure alignment of product and services with TK strategy on technology and architecture
• Define, lead and encourage continuous improvement of the teams delivery and development processes
• Work with the project, product leads to design software at a Roadmap level
• Work with other technical leaders in the broader organization to define, document and distribute best practice and standards
• Coordinate cooperation with third parties

Your qualification

• Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience
• Experience leading teams of software engineers
• Extensive experience designing, writing robust software for large scale applications with rapid release cycles
• Expertise in development frameworks for Python and/or PHP
• Deep knowledge in database design ( both SQL and NoSQL (Cassandra))
• Experience of open source practices
• Expertise in web architecture and key technologies (HTTP, DNS, Cloud, distributed design)
• Competence in test-driven development or broader testing
