About INDG | Grip

INDG develops technology that enables engaging digital product experiences. We combine the science of technology with the artistry of computer-generated content.

Our vision is that at some point in the future all products can be made virtually available to everyone everywhere on the planet. Long before their design has been completed or consumers are even able to buy them, they can be experienced on all levels of detail.

The whole product lifecycle will become part of an intelligent, digital supply chain, from product conception to prototyping, manufacturing, marketing and post-sales support. This makes it possible for brands to tap into unheard-of cost savings, but also to completely revise the way we learn about and interact with their products.

Position

At Grip we are looking for a Business Analyst for Product with IT Project management skills to join our team. As a vital part of our product team you will work closely with our development teams and directly with key stakeholders such as CTO, Head of Product, Head of Development and Head of Professional Services.

It is your responsibility to analyze business requirements and break them down into features and backlog items, and subsequently successfully manage software development and integration projects on Grip. This takes you to the heart of our product, you’ll be working on new features in our software, new integrations, and improvements of existing features on Grip.

If you are the wizard who can turn business requirements coming from stakeholders, ask the right questions and write detailed analysis on features and functionality, you enjoy documenting processes, functionality, data flows and requirements, then you could be the exact right person we are looking for!

What is Grip?

With the help of Grip, companies such as L'Oréal, Coca-Cola and Beiersdorf are automating content production for their entire business. Grip moves classic creation and production efforts into the cloud, where a software solution takes care of generating high-quality visuals, at scale, on-demand and based on data. Brand styles, as well as product look and feel are codified, which ensures an entirely consistent, always on-brand output, no matter who (or what) requests it.

Since we started in 2017, 50% of the top 10 largest FMCG companies are working with Grip. We are growing fast and want to continue doing that by building an exceptional product that will change the industry (and the next one after that).

What will you be doing?

You will fulfill two essential roles in our feature lifecycle:

1. Business Analysis

  • Drive discussions with stakeholders to understand the process, the problem and lead solution brainstorms
  • Translate solution needs into actionable user stories. Define detailed functional requirements, process flow diagrams, and business cases
  • Facilitate and support backlog management. Secure approvals with stakeholders
  • Perform and coordinate user acceptance testing to ensure functionality meets business needs before each product release
  • Identify key issues, develop hypotheses, and methodology to verify or refute them
  • Flag and document change management and rollout activities as new features become available

2. Project manager

  • Simultaneously manage multiple internal IT development projects from kick-off to delivery, including onboarding and implementation
  • Ensure the achievement of timelines, schedules and deadlines
  • Managing stakeholder expectations
  • Building and enhancing the relationship with our different internal teams: production studio, development, professional services, marketing and, of course, product

Your qualification

  • Experience gathering and consolidating requirements from cross-functional groups
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet timelines
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal/written English communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
  • Exceptional process and organizational skills with the ability to mobilize change
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle

Will be a plus

  • Experience with Microsoft DevOps, Visio and/or PowerBI
  • Knowledge of traditional project management methods as well as Agile approaches
  • Relevant certifications such as Scrum Master or Prince II
