Position

Music App, Inc is looking for a full time mid to senior level iOS Developer to work on the next generation of music education. As an iOS Developer, you will leverage your skills in Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit to build and improve the Clefer Piano music learning app on iOS. You will be working closely with a product team that includes content specialists, UI/UX designers, backend developers, and fellow iOS developers to the best approaches to develop new features and maintain systems. Responsibilities:

• Build out iOS features using Swift and SwiftUI and leveraging Swift libraries via Swift Package Manager and CocoaPods
• Design and implement robust, anti-fragile, and performant views and business logic with a solid grasp on separation of concerns and iteration speed in mind
• Monitor, prioritize and resolve issues that may arise with our live app
• Collaborate with product team members to solve problems in a way that improves the software environment as a whole
• Build and maintain robust testing infrastructure to prevent errors and regressions before they are deployed

Your qualification

• Significant experience in building iOS apps as per modern paradigms such as MVC, MVVM, VIPER, and Reactive and Composable architectures
• Significant experience with Swift and UIKit, and ideally with SwiftUI, and consuming web APIs
• Experience with UX optimizations such as prefetching, caching, and parallelization
• Experience with CI/CD such as Bitrise or Xcode Cloud

Will be a plus

• Experience building backend APIs
• Understanding of UI/UX design paradigms
• You play(ed) music and you are known with music notation. This will be a plus when working on this app
