This is going to be your job

On behalf of the Orchestration & Integration department at APG Asset Management, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer for the Generic Services (GS) team. In this role, you focus specifically on adapting and improving ITIL processes including Life Cycle Management and Service Management for your (global) stakeholders to keep IT running. Second, you contribute in maintaining Generic applications for Asset Management. As a DevOps Engineer GS, you will be working within a team of approximately 5 professionals.

You will cooperate in the agile way of working within the Generic Services team together with others AM teams and your stakeholders (among other APG IT) with ITIL processes and you will fullfill Service Management activities with SIS. You will support the Product Owner within the digitalization transformation by keeping the shop open and developing and improving the processes to the new situation. You will be involved in several topics like ITIL-related topics, application management, robotics, etc.

You will be located in Amsterdam or (preferably) Heerlen.

This is what you offer

As a DevOps Engineer GS, you have a strong background in ITIL processes and application management. Furthermore, you:

• Have a master’s degree, preferably in business administration, information science or a comparable qualification, or experience at a working level comparable to a master's level
• Have more than 5 years of work experience with IT Service Delivery in complex environments, comparable to APG
• Have extensive knowledge of IT, ITIL processes, and Life Cycle Management
• Have experience in analyzing, exposing, optimizing, and solving issues
• Have experience with SAFe and/or as Scrum Master
• Have technical skills to support applications
• Have excellent communication and negotiation skills and strong presentation skills in Dutch and English 
• Have the possibilities to contribute to a stand-by schedule
