Position

We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Engineering Manager to join our Tech team.

The challenge is as enormous as the scale and style of the whole DocPlanner undertaking - we are the world's leading marketplace for doctors and patients, enabling booking and management of doctor's offices (SaaS model). We are a leader in 11 countries, creating a tool for over 100k active doctors. What is more, 61.9 mln unique patients are visiting our website each month. Last month, 4.8 mln medical visits were booked on our website. We have seven offices around the world and our team consists of over 1000 people.

What will you do with us?

• Manage and provide leadership, technical expertise, and career development for multiple QA Team Leaders each of which is responsible for their own teams
• Developing and implementing processes to ensure that our several products meet required specifications for quality, and reliability prior to delivery
• Coordinate the testing processes of several types of products
• Being involved in the process of analysing issues, bugs, defects and other problems, particularly when they occur on a recurring basis, recommending and facilitating solutions to these problems
• Understand the cost/benefits of different solutions avoiding over-engineering where it’s not needed
• Establish team metrics for measurement of the evolution of the QA teams 
• Make sure that clear priorities are being set and clearly aligned and communicated across the organisation
• Creates active training and help to create career plans for the Quality staff with the objective of driving the overall competence and professionalism across the division
• Be actively involved in hiring and growing our QA team with the Talent Acquisition team
• Work together with our HRBP and Team leaders to maintain and improve a strong culture of success, engagement, and happiness in our teams

Your qualification

• 4+ years of experience leading engineering teams
• Passionate about people, and improving the environment in which they work
• Experience growing, coaching, mentoring and providing feedback to team members including having had difficult conversations
• Profound understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle 
• Strong QA process understanding
• Great communication skills, both written and verbal in English
