We make healthcare more accessible by letting patients review over 2 million verified opinions, find the best doctor nearby and book a visit in a few seconds. Doctors can attract new patients and manage their calendars via our intuitive agenda management tool.

Position

We are looking for a Principal Product Designer with a demonstrated history of high-quality work who can help us deliver a seamless product experience to Doctors. You'll be a key pillar of our team, with the autonomy to own and shape design direction for the entire product experience. You'll be involved in every step of the processâ-defining product, collaborating with Product Managers, Content Designers, Engineering Leads, and Researchers, prototyping and scaling a product that is used every day by +100k of Doctors across different countries.

You’ll be directly responsible for decisions that influence the product and roadmap, so we are looking for someone with a passion for making complex systems easy to use. On top of that, you are going to be part of a Product Design Team with more than 20 Product Designers and Content Designers, ready to provide feedback to your ideas, support your growth, and build a great design environment together.

The challenge is as enormous as the scale and style of DocPlanner’s undertaking - we are the world’s leading marketplace for doctors and patients, enabling booking and management of doctor’s offices. We are a leader in 11 countries, creating a tool for over 100k active doctors. What is more, 61.9 million unique patients use our website each month. Last month, 4.8 million medical visits were booked on our website. We have seven offices around the world, and our team consists of almost 2.000 people.

What will you be doing?

• Own the end-to-end user journey from ideation to final production
• Work autonomously and collaborate with PMs, Product Designers, and other stakeholders to drive our design vision for the product, inform roadmap and strategy, and execute designs and systems with cross-functional partners such as engineering, research, and data analyst
• Contribute to Docplanner’s design system 
• Provide strong design leadership and guidance to ensure the quality, consistency, and usability of our products 
• Inspire and align the cross-functional teams with our design vision
• Scope design work and negotiate with business and engineering partners to align around milestones and deliverables that are realistic and feasible
• Be an active mentor for fellow designers

Your qualification

• 8+ years of experience in Digital Product Design
• Expert knowledge of the end-to-end product design process, demonstrating a command of product strategy, distilling the jobs to be done for a given user, journey mapping, wireframing and prototyping, user testing, and high fidelity visuals
• Proven track record of working within product teams to ship successful products 
• Fluency with Figma and advanced prototyping tools 
• Excellent presentation skills and communication abilities
• Deep understanding of UX processes and a high degree of empathy for users
• Be an advocate for data-inspired decision-making
• Experience building and growing Design Systems
• Fluency in English

Will be a plus

• You can write HTML and CSS
• Experience working on tech, product-driven companies
