Position

• Take full ownership and lead a project team through all stages of the software delivery lifecycle
• Act as the delivery lead, assuming day to day responsibility for selected projects within the programme, bridging the gaps between client requirements and technical delivery team to ensure successful project delivery
• Ensure the project is planned, delivering to required cost, quality and scope, defining milestones, dependencies and assumptions
• You will interact with stakeholders throughout the project to ensure they are kept aware and up-to-date of any developments and manage their expectations
• You will deliver presentations and prepare documents as and when required
• You will produce weekly and monthly reports
• Facilitation of meetings
• Administration of project documentation including RAID logs
• Basic financial and accounting tasks relating to forecasting and revenue

Your qualification

• Experience in IT project management, ideally within Investment Banking or Private Banking
• A proven track record of high quality delivery
• Structured project management training and qualifications are highly desirable
• An understanding of Agile methodologies is highly beneficial
• Experience using Jira and Confluence
• Experience managing small to medium sized groups
• Natural leadership, with the ability to motivate teams and manage stakeholders
• An ability to respond to changing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel and MS Project

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

As a Project Manager at Excelian, you will own the delivery of projects within the Financial Services space. You will use your excellent client-facing skills to interact with business stakeholders globally and drive IT delivery teams both onshore and offshore. You will be part of a global delivery organisation responsible for all projects delivered within our Digital Consulting practise and help to contribute to the continued growth and evolution of the organisation.
