Position

Our client is an ambitious Munich-based startup company. With their AI-powered SasS solution, they are solving transport optimisation problems and provide various tools to manage, analyse and improve transport processes.

To reinforce their team we're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to:

• Build new features and improve existing features and code
• Review, align and continuously improve the architecture with the team 
• Guide the team to translate features into independent, coherent, tested, and performing services
• Make the team excellence-driven with regards to code quality, best practice design, and robustness
• Support the team in the technical planning in order to find the best technical solution
• Regularly scan the horizon for new software, techniques, platforms, and frameworks and fuel the team with technology input

Your qualification

• You have already worked 5+ years in a professional and dynamic development team with a comparable tech stack
• You are proficient in Python, Flask, and relational databases. Other languages are a nice-to-have
• You are experienced in building a performing REST API on top of microservices that is tested and documented
• You are familiar with CI/CD and TDD/BDD as they form the base of your development workflow
• You are familiar with Docker and Kubernetes 
• You have ideally experience with AWS
• You feel at home in an agile working environment
• You are fluent in English
