Westwing was founded in 2011 by Delia Lachance (née Fischer) and her four co-founders. Delia had previously worked as editor for ELLE and ELLE Decoration magazines. During this time, she was continuously looking for beautiful Home & Living products and inspiring online shops at affordable prices, but it was always in vain. So she founded one herself. Do you think this could be you? To pursue our ambitious growth strategy, we are looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer (m/f/d)to join our UX/UI Design team. You will work with creative, like-minded individuals with a passion for technology in retail. As part of an expanding dynamic tech team, you are developing solutions for an iconic furniture retailer in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
Your tasks:
- Developing a high-class user interface design for Westwing web, iOS, and Android apps
- Shaping the product direction together with our product owners and driving its’ implementation in collaboration with our product and development teams in an agile process
- Working closely with business, whilst driving design and ideation phases, to deliver on business objectives whilst being sure to prioritize the user
- Designing complex user flows and customer journeys
- Driving the iterative design process from end-to-end, including ideation, sketching, mockups, low- & high fidelity prototyping, user testing, interaction concepts, and final UI design
- Delivering a consistent visual language to all our digital platforms and touchpoints, whilst also considering the specificity of the environment
- Proactively problem-solving, maximizing your familiarity of technical constraints and limitations
- Creating and defining hypotheses, KPIs, and their measurements to decide the next steps
Your qualification
- A bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in design (or similar)
- Several years of experience in UX / UI design, focus on eCommerce design in a fast-paced environment
- Strong experience in using common design and prototyping programs (Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe CC, Axure, Framer, Flare, Principle, etc.)
- Experience in a mid-senior role with the hope of joining our team as a senior designer where you will receive regular reviews and feedback and have the opportunity to coach junior team members
- An impressive portfolio showcasing both conceptual interaction design, as well as a clear understanding of visual design
- Additional skills in illustrations, animation, and icon design is a bonus
- Good English skills
