Frontend / Full Stack Software Engineer - Web UI & Robotics Backend (Angular, Typescript, Python)

NavVis was founded in 2013 to bridge the gap between outdoor and indoor digital maps. As a spin-off of the Technical University of Munich, our computer vision based indoor positioning technology is based on years of academic research.

Today, we continue to push the frontiers of digital mapping. Our revolutionary digital indoor products are being used by the world’s leading automotive, construction, real estate, logistics and insurance companies. We have over 30 partners worldwide using our technology to take indoors digital.

Position

You will work on:

• Our UI application powering the M6 (Angular 2+, HTML, Typescript, CSS)
• The back-end that controls the mapping on our mapping devices M3 and M6 (Python)
• Apps that we use for scaling and simplifying internal processes
• Designing an innovative client-server architecture to connect high-performance computations for robotics with a simple to use and interactive web interface
• Maintaining and extending our APIs for third party use
• Coaching your colleagues

Your qualification

• 3+ years experience in software development
• A Master / Bachelor degree in computer science / electrical engineering / similar or no degree but self-taught top-notch coding skills
• Successfully implemented client-server applications or successfully implemented web-server applications in a comparable language
• In-depth JavaScript/TypeScript experience knowing the language and common JS libraries
• Profound knowledge of Python and relevant libraries

Will be a plus

• Angular 2+ or similar frameworks
• Git, Bash and Linux in general (e.g. Ubuntu, Redhat, Debian, SUSE)
• Experience in debugging and profiling applications and improving their efficiency, scalability, and stability
• An interest in DevOps, CI/CD, and agile methodologies
