About CHECK24

CHECK24 is a German comparison portal offering insurance, energy, finance, telecommunications and travel comparisons.

Position

• You will help us build and grow innovative insurance applications, which are used daily by thousands of our users to help them find the best and most cost-effective insurance
• You will develop new features in close cooperation with product managers and quality assurance
• You will scout and implement new technologies which will make our products better and our development processes faster and more efficient
• You participate in feature plannings and estimations
• You help us take our nodejs based micro-service and micro-app architectures to the next level

Your qualification

• You should already have experience creating or maintaining Software-As-A-Service platforms
• You create well-crafted code through applying SOLID, KISS and YAGNI principles consistently
• You are a Javascript enthusiast and fell in love with the nodejs/npm ecosystem
• You know ES6+ and modern frontend frameworks like react, angular or vue
• You prefer crafting modular and responsive user interfaces using CSS preprocessors like PostCSS and style tools such as BEM or SUIT-CSS
• You know how to write unit tests using tools like ava or mocha, chai and sinon
• You are fluent in English
