Position

• Design, develop, test and maintain backend components in distributed backend systems with the focus on high performance and availability
• Propose and implement ideas and solutions aimed at improving the software quality as well as software architecture of the components and products assigned to the team
• Work in one cross-functional team with Product Manager, Engineers and UX Designer in an agile environment to shape new products
• Push limits of product innovation and improve this continuously by engaging with the latest advancements in technology and methods

Your qualification

• A degree in business information technology or computer science or comparable training or experience in this field is required
• Fluent in multiple programming languages, especially Java in web Environments
• Enjoy working within self-organised teams with the eagerness for responsibility
• Excellent communication skills and proficient in English
• An open and honest person with a sense of humour

Will be a plus

Experience with functional programming, as is familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases.
