Position

This is a great opportunity for you to join our motivated 4-person ICT team. The holder of this position will be working fulltime on an unlimited contract starting as soon as possible based in our Headquarters in Darmstadt.

Key duties and responsibilities of the Engineer will include, but not be limited to administration, troubleshooting, capacity and performance planning, security, root cause analysis and new product deployment to ensure we continue to maintain the highest service delivery Standards possible.

In this respect, he/she is responsible for the configuration, monitoring, maintenance and day to day operation of the Microsoft Domain environments. He/she will also ensure the reliability and data integrity of the environment with a goal of no unplanned downtime.

Your qualification

• Education or studies in IT / Computer Science or relevant discipline
• At least 2 years relevant experience in Microsoft Active Directory Environments
• Demonstrable experience of installing, administration Windows 2008 and 2012 server
• Excellent understanding and experience of working with underlying Microsoft technologies/services such as DNS, WINS, DHCP, DFS, Group Policy, Windows Server Operating Systems, email archiving solution
• PowerShell
• Fluent/Good English and German speaking and writing skills
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
• Creative approach to problem solving
• A team player with a good sense of humor

Will be a plus

• Excel VBA programming
• Experience in IT security
