Position

As a Frontend Engineer on our Platform team, you will have the opportunity to work on core service features that are integral to our entire product range, such as permission management, authentication, and notifications. These features are heavily utilised by tens of thousands of users daily, and you will play a crucial role in their development!

Your Contribution

• You will be part of a highly collaborative cross-functional product team alongside a dedicated Product Manager
• You will have a strong focus on maintaining and improving the performance of our frontend codebase, with a particular emphasis on ensuring a smooth user experience
• You deploy code to production, relying on our highly automated continuous integration and continuous delivery infrastructure 
• You will also play a key role in the migration to micro frontends
• We are a team, you will be part of knowledge sharing, and contributing innovative ideas to enhance our product and customer experience

The Tech Stack

• Front-end: React, JS/Typescript, Flow, MobX, RxJS, GraphQL+Apollo, Microfrontends, Jest
• Backend: Python, Node.js
• CI/CD: Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline
• Cloud: Amazon Web Services

Your qualification

• You have hands-on professional experience as a frontend engineer
• You’ve gained comfortable experience using React
• You know how to write testable code, and how to do unit testing
• You can fluently communicate in English (both in written and verbal communication)
• You’re pragmatic and a result-oriented software engineer, and you prioritise things that the user will benefit from
• You’re happy both to help others, but also don’t shy away from asking others for help
