We are currently establishing a new team for the LEGO ID product in digital identity and authentication subdomain.
The LEGO ID product is serving a great number of consumer facing experiences – just name a few – LEGO.com, LEGO Building Instructions App, LEGO Life app, LEGO IDEAS, and also our external game partners and vendors. It is our core identity management system to millions of kids, adults, and families. It is the center piece of our LEGO connected ecosystem!
Core Responsibilities:
As a lead backend developer, you provide technical leadership and will be the go-to person when team members need a hand on solving technical issues, a direction on architecture and design patterns as well as inspirations on new technologies.
And will lead us transform the current architecture to a target architecture by leaning in on architecture design as well as tackling the most sophisticated part of the implementation. You actively engineer solutions to automate, optimize and increase operational efficiency and ensure our solutions to be the standard for privacy and legal compliance.
Our current identity management tech stack is based on .NET, Duende IdentityServer and Amazon Web Services, you will be actively developing backend features, architecting, (re)configuring and maintaining our robust and scalable solution by applying a “you build it – you run it” philosophy. You will ensure great engineering practice according to the defined quality standards for product, architecture characteristics, codebase, documentations, and APIs.
Actively bring security best practices to the team and continuously lift the bar of our current solution. Avoid database injection, security-misconfiguration, and perform penetration testing should not be unfamiliar with you. You will also be part of on security related operations to keep the lights on for this business-critical product.
In our mind, test-driven development and test automation shall be in every developer’s daily practice, and it is also your job to enable continuous integration and continuous deployment.
It would be outstanding if you also have experience with distributed system, event-driven architecture, event streaming platforms and backend for front end design patten. As well as practice on Domain-Driven Design strategic and tactical implementation. A Bachelor or Master’s degree within Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar or solid experience from similar position.
