Responsibilities
As a data engineer in NNIT Digital Together, you will take a key role in customer projects which are placed at the very top in our customers’ strategic agendas within data and innovation. In these projects, you will be able to exploit your data skills such as data pipelines including ingestion and transformation, cloud infrastructure, and platform services among others. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to join cross-professional teams and thus be exposed to other professional disciplines, such as business consultancy, strategic innovation, and design thinking.
In projects you are expected to:
- Use your programming and technical skills and understanding of data to develop business solutions
- Collaborate with teams consisted of data engineers, data scientists and various client stakeholders in order to produce large scale data pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes
- Advisory within data and technologies to guide our customers on their data journey and thus furthering better business outcomes
- Continuously keeping up with the latest trends and bringing them to our customers through projects
Your qualification
- >2 years of experience with programming, data science/engineering or equivalent
- Building data pipelines and infrastructure in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform orTeradata Vantage
- Experience with our tech stack: Python, Scala, SQL, (Py)Spark, Kafka, bash
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases
- Experience with CI/CD (e.g. Azure DevOps)
As a person, you possess a sincere thirst for problem solving and you have a curious mind who wants to solve the trickiest problems. An advisory approach from consulting is very beneficial.
Will be a plus
- Have experience with Databricks and Terraform
- Have experience with Snowflake
- Have experience from an analytical or digital organization
- Have experience in consultancy and customer – facing roles
