Position

Oradian is looking for a competent leader to continue Oradian’s growth and success in its respective markets. This firstly involves profund understanding of the Oradian way, how to communicate to a spectrum of audiences across our markets, defining and implementing our strategy. The Head of Brand and Communications will continually strengthen the company’s brand and market presence.

Some of the Head of Brand and Communications’ responsibilities are leading a team of communication specialists, developing strategies and building on the established brand, allocating resources management on multiple projects running parallelly and reaching short-term objectives. You will design, implement and monitor effective communication strategies that align with our business goals. Plus, you must inspire your team and demonstrate success.

The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with an ability to balance pragmatic mindset with creativity, and the interpersonal skills to work with all departments of our business. It is essential to be proficient in both verbal and written English and to have presentation skills to convey and deliver the set objectives with creativity and enthusiasm.

At this stage of the Oradian journey, the role of Head of Brand and Communications will report directly to the CEO and will work with all areas of the business.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Leading and mentoring a highly efficient team of professionals in Oradian’s Communication team
  • Defining strategy and implementation to objectives set
  • Deliver and support the Communication’s team responsibilities
  • Engaging and overseeing campaign management, public relations, internal communications, content production, creative work and managing suppliers
  • Set, monitor and report on team goals and defined metrics
  • Developing messaging for a variety of audience and markets
  • Ensure our brand message is consistent across all channels and efforts including: events, campaigns, online and promotional material, recruitment and internal communication
  • Analyse customer behaviour and ensure we deliver to the promise of being customer-centric
  • Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share
  • Monitor competitors’ activities in respective to the role
  • Conduct general research to keep abreast of trends and competitor’s movements
  • Coordinate efforts to boost brand awareness
  • Define quarterly team and strategic objectives and ensure they are aligned to the company objectives
  • Provide guidance and ideas to organise effective marketing events
  • Manage external relationship with third parties such as media, stakeholders and potential customers, and create a solid network of strategic partnerships
  • Monitor all campaigns and improve when necessary
  • Prioritise projects and allocate resources accordingly

Your qualification

  • Work experience as Head of Marketing, Head of Communication, Marketing/Communication Director
  • Sector experience: financial services, enterprise technology solutions, emerging markets
  • Demonstrable experience developing strategies for branding, campaigns, product promotions and messaging for a variety of market segments
  • Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to set priorities and navigate project constraints
  • Analytical and creative thinking
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-oriented approach with aptitude and creativity
  • Strategic mindset, with ability to make difficult decisions quickly
  • BSc/BA or MSc in business administration, marketing and communications or relevant field
  • Extensive travel is a must
