A Linktree not only points followers in the direction of your choosing — to your other social profiles, eCommerce store, or content you want to share — but it helps hold followers within your online ecosystem for longer. It allows users to share more, sell more, curate more and grow more.
Position
We are looking to grow our Engineering team with a Senior Fullstack Engineer. We are looking for great problem solvers who enjoy collaborating with others (not just engineers) that value well written and tested code. There are a lot of things we think are great about working at Linktree but we are biased, so here are the key takeaways that most engineers seemed to want to know:
- Tech Stack: We use Javascript end to end with React, Node.js. The rest of our stack includes Typescript, Storybook, Elasticsearch, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, AWS (Lambda), Kubernetes, Terraform and Snowflake. Our first build was in PHP so that is in our legacy code
- We work in cross-functional teams, where you will have real ownership over a problem end to end
- You will work closely with our platform/devOps team who will ensure you have the best tools to do your role effectively
- Our Engineers work on requirement analysis and work closely with Product Managers and Designers on developing user stories. You will write unit, integration and e2e tests
- As a Senior you will coach and mentor junior and mid-level Engineers
Your qualification
- Ideally you have some experience with our tech stack but we are looking for technology agnostic engineers who want to use the best tool for the job
- Enjoy working in growing startup/scale up where you will drive initiatives and have a real impact to our customers
- You have worked across the full stack and enjoy diving into challenges across both the frontend and backend
- Strong communication skills and enjoy working in cross-functional teams
- Code quality must always be top of mind
- Experience in large scale environment is highly desirable, we're building processes to handle at least double our current customer base (13+ million users)
