Position

  • Perform teardowns of products and complex systems, conduct electrical measurements, support the competitive analysis, to ensure a value proposition of Dialog’s products and contribute to differentiation of future products
  • Evaluate solutions from competitors via lab measurements on products or on evaluation kits
  • Define and perform reverse engineering plans, with the help of other Dialog internal groups (failure analysis, applications, marketing)
  • Drive system level analysis of customer products to: (i) identify new opportunities (ii) strive for new IP developments (iii) identify customer needs and future trends
  • Contribute to the definition of new IPs and products, down to single functions and electrical parameters
  • Make technical presentations to Dialog teams
  • Work closely with cross functional teams inside and outside Dialog

Your qualification

  • Master’s degree and 8+ years of system/applications/concept design experience
  • Excellent skills in performing lab analysis with different kinds of equipment, complex physical and electrical performance measurements (physically disassemble devices, build a complex evaluation set-up, etc.), system level investigations in a self-organized way
  • Substantial demonstrable technical competence in an application or system engineering role within a global analogue/mixed signal semiconductor supplier
  • Versatility, flexibility to switch and work on tasks with different natures, capability to learn quickly new necessary competences when required, “can do” attitude
  • Proven experience in teardown of devices, reverse engineering
  • Software skills sufficient to enable measurement automation script development (Java / Python / C++)
  • In-depth knowledge of portable consumer markets, key players and trends
  • Excellent communication and personal relationship skills
  • Self-motivated, able to complete complex tasks working independently, able to handle multiple priorities in an organized manner
