Aside from salary, work-life balance is probably the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/stackoverflow.blog\/2021\/12\/07\/new-data-what-developers-look-for-in-future-job-opportunities\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">second most important factor<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for developers considering a new role. We are going to compare, in detail, three aspects of the working world to discover where software engineers have the best work-life balance. So if work-life weighs heavily in your decision-making process, then read on!\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"content__item\">\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Number of hours dedicated to work<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Let&#8217;s start with something basic but fundamental: the average number of hours dedicated to work.
