About Propeller Aero

Every day, thousands of professionals in enterprise and government organisations worldwide use Propeller Aero to create and share quality data about the sites and assets they manage. We help our customers improve worksite management efficiency and collaboration while reducing cost and risks.

Drone technology is having a massive impact on how worksites and infrastructure assets are managed. We’re focused on unlocking the value of that new source of high quality data.

Position

You’ll be helping build the 3D front-end for Propeller’s web platform for site analysis. This allows people on worksites to use drone data to make their job safer, faster and better.

You’ll be working with our literally Oscar-winning front-end team in Surry Hills. You may also get flown over to the middle of Western Australia to visit a customer site, or shipped out to Las Vegas to spin all day at an industry conference.

Your qualification

  • Experience with computer graphics algorithms for 3D modeling, geometric transformations, 3D viewing and rendering
  • Interactive graphics experience using OpenGL or WebGL, from preparing geometry to packing buffers to writing shaders
  • Solid maths knowledge for geometry, trigonometry, and linear algebra
  • Working understanding of level of detail when visualizing large data sets
  • Experience writing code for 3D and 2D visualization
  • Strong knowledge of modern web technologies: HTML, JavaScript & CSS
